Deleting your HunTracker account

HunTracker is a hunting-log mobile application operated by Léman Gábor Imre, sole proprietor (registered office: 8440 Herend, Ady Endre utca 11/A, door 4, Hungary; tax number 92306552-1-51). This page explains how to delete your HunTracker account and what happens to your data when you do.

Deleting your account in the app

The fastest route, and the one that takes effect immediately:

• Open HunTracker and sign in.
• Go to the Profile tab.
• Tap Personal details.
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
• Confirm your identity with your password or passkey, then confirm the deletion.

Deletion runs straight away. There is no waiting period, and no way to undo it — once the confirmation goes through, the account and the data listed below are gone.

Deleting your account by e-mail

If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, write to support@huntracker.app from the e-mail address the account is registered to, asking for the account to be deleted. We answer within 30 days of receiving the request. Where the request is complex, that deadline may be extended once by a further 60 days, and we will tell you the reason within one month, as set out in the Privacy Notice.

What is deleted

Deleting the account permanently erases, without a recovery copy:

• your account and sign-in credentials, including any passkeys;
• your profile — name, username, e-mail address, profile photo, and the optional details you chose to give (gender, age band, county, hunting association);
• every hunt you have recorded, with its harvests, notes, weather records and GPS tracks;
• every photo and video you uploaded, along with their generated thumbnails;
• your equipment list and its photos;
• your friendships, pending friend requests, invitation links, and any hunts shared with or by you;
• your registered devices and your subscription entitlement record.

Media files are removed from our storage as part of the same operation, not on a later schedule.

What is kept, and for how long

• Records relating to a paid subscription are retained for 5 years plus 1 year from performance of the contract, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, as described in the Privacy Notice. They are deleted once that period expires.
• Support correspondence, if you have written to us, is kept for 6 months, or until you ask for it to be erased.
• Anything the law separately requires us to retain is kept for the period that law prescribes.

Purchases and subscriptions

HunTracker never receives or stores your bank card details. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the payment and receipt data belongs to Apple or Google, under their own privacy policies and retention rules — deleting your HunTracker account does not reach it.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it yourself in the App Store or in Google Play; otherwise it will keep renewing even though the account is gone.
